I photographed Cap Rocat, a former 19th-century military fortress overlooking the Bay of Palma in Mallorca, transformed into one of Spain’s most distinctive luxury hotels. Cap Rocat was meticulously restored by architect Antonio Obrador within a protected natural area, preserving its defensive architecture — bunkers, vaulted walls and ramparts — while integrating boutique hotel rooms, terraces and suites carved into the sandstone cliff.
