Artist Profile Luna Paiva
Commissioned by Le Figaro, this project documents sculptor Luna Paiva in her Poblenou studio during the production of a monumental throne for theatre — a clay negative in transition toward bronze.
The focus was on her working environment and hands-on process — shaping, refining and scaling the form before it leaves the studio for casting. The images anchor her practice in material, craft and physical making rather than abstraction. Published as part of an international cultural feature, the series positions contemporary sculpture within a broader dialogue on craft, endurance and transformation.
