For Swim & Sun: A Monocle Guide, I photographed Palma Tennis Club — an iconic social and sports destination in the heart of Palma de Mallorca with deep roots in local leisure culture. Originally founded in the 1960s by architect Francesc Mitjans, the club has been fully modernised while retaining its original rationalist spirit.  

The commission captured the club’s distinctive offering: 25m outdoor pool, clay tennis courts, and communal areas that bridge sport, relaxation and Mediterranean social life. Palma Tennis Club more than a place to train and swim, but a destination that resonates with design-sensitive travellers.
